We bought thus a month a go, our 1st over the range microwave. Happy. With its features but the installation instructions were horrible. Had to redrill the holes for the front based on our measurements rather than those provided in the instructions.

We purchased this model to replace an eight year old Amana Radarange that had stopped working. This one is almost identical to our old one and works very well. The only thing I can say as a negative is that the fan that blows when the microwave is on seems to be a little louder than the old fan. It isn't a big deal to us as we only use the oven for a few minutes at a time. Overall, an excellent product for a reasonable price.

This microwave heats up food, just as I'd expect it to. The two downsides I've found so far: It doesn't have auto start buttons for 1, 2, 3 minutes, so it takes more time to start it when you're used to the auto start buttons. And the second is that if you want to use the "timer" feature, you better listen carefully because the timer does one beep and then it never beeps again. We missed our timer going off a few times because of this. Now we just try to use a different timer. Otherwise, the product does it's job.

We got a new Amana microwave (even though they are Whirlpool now) to replace an old Amana Radarange over the stove. The new model is both taller and deeper than the old one was. There are not as many bells, switches and whistles on the keypad as in the past; that is either a curse or a blessing depending on how you look at it. The power is great, the consistency of the different power levels is great, the rotating plate works wonderfully. It looks nice, but it does stick out pretty far and with an older design of kitchen it could be a little higher away from the stove. That is not specifically a problem in the microwave, although it can kind of be blamed on designers. Kind of. I gave it a 4. I never give anything a 5 unless it rocks my world. This one doesn't quite do that. But, it's a good solid microwave.

Unfortunately I ordered it and didn't see how,big it was (height wise) until my son in law installed it in my absence. It's too tall for the space, comes too close to my stovetop and not happy. If I had been home, I would of returned it and gotten a different model. Now I'm stuck.

Had the unit about four months and so far it works very well and is very easy to use. We don't actually cook with ours, mainly used to reheat items or frozen "quick" type meals. If it lasts about 4 or 5yrs then I'd say it's a FIVE star unit, at least for our needs. Nice unit overall at a very fair price point.

This was the unit that was installed by the builder of the new condo we moved into. I think they were just trying to find something inexpensive but looked halfway decent. This model worked well until it didn't. We have had it for less than two years but since it was past the one year warranty we would have to pay for the repairs which are almost as much as a new model. The service tech said he could find a replacement that was reduced in price but as he quoted prices to me I was finding it for less than his quotes online. I would recommend this model if you only need a microwave for a year. I gave it two stars because it worked well while it worked.
