We wanted a black refrigerator with a top freezer. Apparently top freezers are only available on smaller units. I didn't really want the ice and water dispenser in the door, but we do like our Amana.

I ought this refrigerator a month ago and have been in love with it every since. There is no noise coming from it you can barely tell when ice is being made and I love spacious in the refrigerator I have room for everything. Maybe I should have trade up long time ago.

Would prefer a meat and cheese drawer that would come as a standard. More choices for adjustable shelves would be beneficial, too.

We received our refrigerator through mortgage insurance. I assumed it would be of inferior quality since insurance paid for it but not so at all! They tries, as much as possible, to match the one that broke, after 35 years! It's large enough for everything we need, lots of drawers and compartments to keep things organized, and is well made. The drink/ice dispenser is sturdy and easy to use. It's lighted in case you need a drink in the night and the seals are strong so when you close it, it's closen

I read the reviews of several appliance, this refrigerator beats them out hands down. Not a day goes by that I regret buying this item. The refrigerator and freezer provides ample space, not to mention the glass shelves and binds for Easy clean up. I'm very happy with my Amana.

not happy with the ice maker when the ice comes out it get's on the floor every time chrushed or cubbed when you put a glass up to it for a drink other than that it's fine

The refrigerator and freezer are roomy and keeps things nice and cold. I also like the sleek appearance, but the buttons on the ice maker and stiff, almost like switches instead of buttons. Also the ice dispenser mouth is a little big, so the ice flies all over the place. Oh well.

My previous refrigerator was also an Amana and that is why I chose to purchase the same brand. I had my other fridge for over 15 years and never had any problems with it. The reason I purchased a new one was because there were some strange noises coming from it on occasion. The only objection I have to the new one is I need another wire shelf in the freezer section. It is beautiful and it goes with all my other black appliances in the kitchen. Thank you for making such a reliable fridge.

I love my new Amana! I have had it since September & have been extremely happy with choice. Ice maker is extremely efficient & produces plenty of ice very quickly - keeps up my family's demand. Freezer keeps ice cream at the perfect freeze for eating...not to hard & definately not too soft. I love the the door dispencer features. But most of all I love the outside finish. I chose the black & it doesn't pick up fingerprints & wipes clean very easily!!

We bought this three months ago. It seems pretty good, size is good. However, the ice maker is less than desirable. It took 72 hours without being able to use any ice for the ice maker to fill up. Our old refrigerator was able to fill the ice maker up overnight. Also the crushed ice shoots all over the place not just in your glass.

Automatic ice dispenser broke within the first two months. Instead of having an option for cubed ice or crushed, you get crushed. Frost and icicles form in the ice dispenser form in the dispenser outlet causing dripping. Not enough room to place a glass under the ice dispenser and ice shoots out everywhere.

I bought this a few months ago. The outside scratches very easily. It makes a lot of noise, pops, creaks, knocks. And the ice maker makes really small ice. It is noisey also. But the ice maker does make ice fast and keeps up with demand. It is very roomy on the inside and the shelves move around to accommodate your needs. The water and ice in the door feature works good. The freezer is adequate size. This was the cheapest one at home depot. I guess if you are on a budget like I am you just have to ignore the noises.

I have had my smooth finish Amans double door for 3 months. I had never seen a smooth surface refrigerator. before until I saw it in the store. When I thought about it, it matched my other appliances. I love it because the finish tskes just dusting to care for it. The ice maker makes all the ice one would ever need and cooling to the set temperature took less than 24 hours.

I've had this appliance about a year. it performs excellent,. appliance has more than ample refer and freezer room. the ice dispenser is a great feature whether it be crushed or cubed ice you prefer.

I bought my refrigerator about 3 months and it's nice, but the water pressure that comes out of the door is very slow. I replaced the main valve, but that didn't help. Also, the 25.5 cubic feet refrigerator was supposed to be a good size, but the inside seems too compact.

This refrigerator is of poor quality with less actual interior room than our previous side by side of the same size. The filtered water is terrible tasting and so we do not use the water feature. Regret not going to store to look at product in person before purchasing online.

We bought our new townhome in May of 2014 and needed an economically priced refrigerator. Our home came with stainless steel stove, microwave, and dishwasher. We bought the black refrigerator and it goes very nicely with them as they have black on them as well. The frige is quiet, keeps things the right temperature and looks great too! I am very pleased with my Amana frige!

I bought my Amana side by side a few months ago.....LOVE IT! It has great space for all the condiments, 3 gals of milk and etc. The best part is the water and ice dispenser on the door. My family drinks a lot of ice water, Now I don't have to worry if the kids close the freezer door anymore.

This product does a great job of keeping food nice and cold and easy to reach what you are looking for. Love the door shelves which can be adjusted in refrigerator section and ice and water dispenser in door of freezer.

I bought this in June of which was installed on July 5th. It still makes popping noises which I still cannot get used to hearing. The ice ice maker still throws the cubes when it dumps them. Other than that it works great.

We bought this fridge mainly because of the reviews and the design. We love the slide out glass shelves. There is so much room in both sides. The filtered icemaker works great. I always have enough and as long as thee directions are followed, no problem with dispenser. I wish the water dispenser had more power, it takes a long time to fill glass.
