I am still learning which pot goes on which heater element, because when not in use, I can not see the outlines on the cooktop. This is my only complain.

Love the even heat and ultra low settings for sauces and simmering. Dual ring burner great foot over sized stock pot and frying pan. Sleek look with stainless steel accents. A little bit tough to clean if burned on food.

I agree with others my 15 year old cooktop was easier to both use and clean
I'm so unhappy with this I wish it could be returned or exchanged for another one
We purchased all new appliances and so far only the dishwasher is great

Only used the cooktop a few times and it has burn stains around every burner that was used. It seems as if the coating can't stand the heat. You can't rub it off as it is in the material. The burners are hard to control the heat, more so than other electric cooktops ive owned. Sometimes the double burner doesn't work. Do not buy. Its not worth your money. It might look pretty but it is not quality. I'm not sure how it got any good reviews.

It has good heating and control but I would say maintaining it is too much work. It is very difficult to keep clean. After each use you have to clean the burners. They need to be cleaned even if you don't spill anything. They have rings around them. It a 4 step process. You need to scrape first, wash with warm water and soap, use cleaning polish and rub dry. I had 2 GE cooktops. I used a Mr Clean sponge and windex and it was good to go....a breeze.

I'm really proud of my new KitchenAid 30-inch electric cooktop. It's nice-looking, and
the stainless steel finish goes with the rest of my kitchen, which I recently redid.
The controls are good-looking and work easily and well. One complaint my wife had
about the electric cooktop we formerly had was that you couldn't control the heat. The new cooktop controls it very well. It is a quality appliance.

I almost did not purchase this cook top due to some reviews I read that it was hard to clean. I just could not imagine why and went ahead and purchased based on some input from my sales person. I have used this cook top multiple times now and have had many spills. It cleans up beautifully and is not harder to clean than any other cook top I have owned. I love the look of it and its easy to use features. I really do not do anything special out side of wiping up spills once cooled and I use a stove top cleaner on it regularly. Great quality and this review although submitted based on a promotion has nothing to do with the promotion but my own independent review as this is just a great cook top to own!

Had this installed and only used a handfull of times the black coating in the glass is being removed from the glass. Called kitchenaid and it being sunday they are closed. This was just a regular flat calphlone pan that was on there. Cant use due to look of cooktop. Will keep everyone informed depending on feedback.

I love this stove, especially the super-hot burner. It heats things very quickly. Sometimes I use it just to pre-heat a pan. Medium on the super-hot burner is about the same as high on the other large burner. The small burner on the front is pretty small, but it needs to be to make room for the 12-inch burner beside it. I love having the choice of a big or bigger burner. Cons: The handles are slick. If you have washed your hands and they are a little wet, you will have trouble turning the knobs. Apparently, the switch on the super-hot burner was physically broken (cracked) when we got it, and the burner started acting a little flakey (it had to be in just exactly the right spot to come on). After a while, that burner quit working entirely. When the repairman came, he found that the switch (under the stovetop) was actually broken. That is the only part of the stove that is NOT COVERED by the warranty, so it was a rather expensive repair to a fairly new cooktop.

Terrible cooktop! Difficult to keep clean -- you just look at it and there are smudge marks all over. Previously owned a KitchenAid cooktop and it was very easy to clean. This version has spots that will not budge and it is not as easy to control. Wish I had done more research before purchasing, but I felt KitchenAid had an excellent reputation. Was I wrong!

This cooktop has accurate settings. Besides your ordinary controls, it has a constant "keep warm" setting, which is ideal for keeping food from getting cold while other foods are still cooking. It looks sleek and classy. But, be careful not to spill anything on it because spills are difficult to clean off the glass top once it dries. That is the one drawback.

Love using this cooktop, but EVERY single time you use it be ready to clean it. Whether you are boiling water, or just simmering something, it will be dirty. Everyone spot, spill or splatter shows big time. You have to clean it after every single use and it is such a pain! I'm not an OCD clean freak, but this cooktop stays dirty in my house. Every single time we cook...it's a mess.

I am forced to use electric in my house and never been that happy with my cooktops until now. This is so superior to anything else I have used. The control you have over the heat is superb and the various special features excellent to have. I had looked at induction but did not want to have to replace my favorite pans. This solves the problem and some. Easy to work with and I can finally control the heat. Look no further than this fabulous cooktop if you need electric. Looks great too!

Neat, clean and sexy. Could use some options, auto shutoff with alarm for over-boil / fire, egg timer and tells you when the water is boiling. Smart apps ( did I leave the oven on ? ) wifi over my router, cost 0.23 cents

I bought this and then had to hire a granite man to come out and make the opening larger for the cooktop to fit. Nobody's fault but it cost quite a bit to install. It works well.

Scratches very easy and no way to remove them. Also, wish someone would tell me a quick way to clean without having to use the commercial cleaner. When it is not very dirty I would like to spray some form of cleaner on quickly and wipe it without streaks. Sure hope you have a solution for that. Also, never realized how large the one burner is and how close the back burners are to each other. One more thing. Would be nice to see where the burners are without turning them on first.

Never had a ceramic cooktop before and this is so great bc it was the only model we found that was 4 burner and 30 ". We would never use 5 burners & the 4 on this model are far enough apart to accommodate 2 large pots when we're making big batches of chili for the freezer. This was VERY important to the way we cook.

The double burner is larger than on my previous Jenn air and I love it. I can use some of my pots that I could not use before. The control knobs have great heat adhustment settings. Also, this cooktop heats up quickly and cools down quickly when you dial,down.

We purchased this about a month ago and its the best purchase we made. It heats up fast, and also keeeps the heat evenly. Bottom of the pan doesn't burn like our old one did either. Very happy with the cook top!
