Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Disappointed Twice

Mr. Electron 12/29/2018

This is my second such rangetop. I bought the first several years ago and had trouble with the spark ignition. It would spark continually after the burner was already lit. Ultimately the problem was traced to a wire pinched between two pieces of sheet metal. The second unit came about as a result of the gas overpressure problem in Lawrence, MA. (The gas company replaced damaged appliances with like units). Immediately after installation, the grill would not ignite even though there was a nice spark and plenty of gas. The service technician had to adjust the position of the ignitor spark to fix the problem. My final complaint is the design of the grill burner sheet metal and drip trays. It is a real pain to disassemble (and re-assemble) for cleaning. There are a lot of interlocking parts that all get very dirty very quickly and have so many bends, holes, and tabs that it is virtually impossible to clean. This cooktop is a fairly expensive appliance and I feel certain that a much better design of this section is possible.

Love this Rangetop

RickA 12/8/2018

This top has been in the remodeled kitchen for 7 years now and performs now as it did when new. My only picky issue is that the two 15K burners are not inline. So when a girdle is used, it is over the 20k & 15K burners or a 15K and the simmer burner. So it is a trick to get an even temperature across the griddle.

Avoid this unit with griddle

NotAmused 11/2/2018

We bought this cooktop for our new home through Ferguson (www.ferguson.com). Supposedly we had a one-year warranty. During the warranty period we told the builder that the griddle, despite having a knob that reads up to 500 degrees, would not heat past 200. Months later, a repairman shows up, charges $105 to confirm that, yes, indeed it does not heat properly, and that our options are to "live with it" or pay an additional $500 for a new switch which may or MAY NOT fix the problem - no guarantee and no returns. We will never purchase another KitchenAid product again and will probably spend those $500 on a high quality unit to replace this 1-yr old unit and definitely will not buy it from Ferguson.

ok if you like gas

sfps 8/27/2018

the grill is hard to clean and makes a mess all over the range top when you use . Had to replace the grill one on the grills broke off. The cook top would be a better value, and it would have been better if you could interchange the the two, instead making them permit one way. Another burner would be better than the grill.

JK357 2/5/2018

The back left back gets real hot, the back right back gets hot, the left front get kinda hot, the right front gets warm. I have had a little over month and had two service companies come they said that it is the design and there is nothing to fix.

Terrible Grill Cooktop

Disappointed in Colorado 1/20/2018

We built a home and moved in 6 months ago. I chose this cooktop just for the grill. I was so excited to have a grill indoors for the cold winters here in Colorado. But after one use, what a waste of money! The one time we used the grill, it took a while to heat up, did not cook evenly and the clean up was the worst! It took over an hour to take it apart and clean. Then I was afraid I would not be able to put it back together! There are so many pieces and the grease trap doesn't even work! Now it just sits there and I cover it up with foil to keep it clean. What an eyesore it is now. Agree with the one review. There should be a conversion kit for the griddle so at least this grill portion gets used. Do not buy!!

Love my new cooktop!

3/31/2017

We need to find a replacement for our 20 year old thermador cooktop that would be a relatively easy swap out for the space we had. The specs were on target and my husband and son had the old one removed and new one in in a couple of hours with very little problems. The cooktop is every thing we were looking for and we are very happy with the product. The only fa ture that I miss is the indicator light to let you know if you have left one of the burners on. Other than that, I would give it a five star rating!

DONT BUY IT FOR THE GRILL

3/29/2017

Ok so Ive had 2 years under my belt with this thing, and it was the biggest waste of money on a appliance I have ever spent! I purchased it specifically for using the grill during the winter, thinking awesome I wont have to stand in the cold! Immediately upon the 1st time using it something was wrong so after 4 service calls 1) Igniter wouldn't lite until my home was filled with gas (in which this was repaired) 2) It wouldn't heat up evenly 3) It wouldn't heat up evenly and now they replaced the burner 4)It wouldn't heat up evenly, it is what it is So with that I have come to the conclusion that Kitchen Aid had a great idea but its a flop! Quit selling it, after seeing the reviews I see I'm not the only one with the problem. They should offer a conversion kit FREE to customers to turn it into a griddle. At least that way it serves a purpose as opposed to taking up space. The burners on the stove are good, Ill give them that but the grill burner takes 30 minutes to heat the grill on the back ends only, it couldn't be more of a pain in the butt to clean the stainless tray under the grate along with the grease trap. I'm over it have not used it in almost a year! WASTED approx $3000 on something I cannot use. Would love to know if there is an option I can replace the grill with a griddle!

Grill Over Promises, Under Delivers

1/21/2017

The grill tube burner heats unevenly. Flame is visably larger at the far end of the burner, and nearly non-existent nearer the user. Effective surface area is about 1/3 the total area. Had a technician replace the tube burner with the same result. Technician called Kitchen Aid and was told this is normal. I don't believe it. In addition, the grease tray system is poorly designed and is a bother to disassemble and assemble. You're just asking for a grease fire. If you are at all serious about cooking, my advice is stay away or get the six burner version. You can a least put a cast iron griddle on the two center burners and get a more consistent heat.

Don't waste your money

10/26/2016

If you are buying this range top for the grill, don't waste your money. The "even heat grill" is anything but. I bought one and it was super hot on one side and in the back. Repairmen came multiple times before the unit was replaced. Same thing on the replacement.

Works Grrreat !!!

3/21/2016

This product works great. The grill is awesome and the simmer burners do a great job at low heat. I paired this with a range hood and a 1200cfm motor and couldn't be more please with the way smoke and fumes are evacuated from the kitchen on even the lowest fan speed.

Excellent Cooktop!

9/21/2015

This model (KGCU462VSS) replaces our old Thermador gas cooktop with grill. That cooktop gave us a lot of trouble and the manufacturer quit making parts. The KitchenAid appears to be made to higher standards. The burners function perfectly and we really like the three sizes. The grill puts out more heat than or old one and doesn't seem to have hot-spots-very uniform heat distribution. The grates are very robust and the pans under the burners are easy to keep clean. We look forward to many years of service from this fine product. Highly recommended!

Hot Purchase!

lindapc 10/18/2014

We purchased the Kitchen Aid 36 in/4 burner with Grill cooktop four months ago and what a difference it make in cooking. Finally, boiled water in 2 minutes or less, hot flame for cooking at what ever level you want. The different burner sizes all work as listed. the low simmer is almost to fast/hot! The grill is fabulous and allows us to cook inside without issue. Cleaning the grill is relatively easy. A couple of layers down. Extremely well made. So, we are extremely pleased with this purchase.

Great Grill!

xock 4/28/2014

In moving into a condo without an outside space I was giving up my gas grill, one of my favorite cooking methods. I researched ranges with grills and found only a few. Several people who had bought units with grills said "don't bother" because, in their opinion, indoor grills are not not powerful enough to produce that great grilled crust on foods. What first attracted me to the Kitchenaid range was that the grill had serious btu ratings. Much higher than any other unit I could find. So, now that I've installed the unit in my remodeled kitchen I use it three or four times a week. Definitely as powerful as an outdoor grill. Good controls. Heavy solid cast iron grill. Big enough to handle 5-6 good sized steaks at once. Just first rate! Downsides: like any grill it's a hassle to clean, but the design facilitates easy dis-assembly so I can put the various parts into the sink for a good scrubbing. I've also learned that a big wire brush (just like on my outdoor grill) handles most of the clean up. Also, don't even think about it unless you have a serious hood that vents to the outside. My hood moves 600cfm on the highest setting and its adequate.

I really like having burners with different BTU ratings, if

Scoutmrs777 8/6/2013

The only downside to this is taking apart the center grill portion to clean. Although I haven't used it, grease splatters need to be cleaned. I love the various BTUs of the burners. Love the unit overall!
