I bought it a few months ago. We love the upper oven for Pizzas and the bottom for larger items.Dual oven controls and rapid preheat for when we are short on time. No complains here. We are loving this oven.

I bought my second maytag Gemini only because I went with stainless steel appliances. Nothing was wrong with my white one, it provided years of hard working perfect performances.The new one is nice also, dependable heat, more burner sizes and temperatures. One light for both ovens, I can deal with that. BUT why did you only put one kitchen timer on it. Around the holidays I use both ovens each needing their own timer. Again, why only one timer?

Purchased with new home - in fact - I paid extra for this Range. Had one in the house I owned before this one and I knew that I couldn't settle for less. Ever try to cook Thanksgiving for 20 people in one oven??? Pretty difficult. But not with this Range and the Microwave! I can whip out a huge turkey, casseroles, gravy, veggies, etc. And don't forget the warming eye on top of the stove Make the gravy and then just let it sit to keep warm. Whether you are a super-cook, or just want to get a meal together, this Range is the BEST!!

this range is everything i hoped it would be an more.boils water in less then two minutes easy to keep the top clean ovens preheat in record time looks as awesome as poctures do and it is very well made very sturdy not cheap an flimsy like some of the other models of this type. if your looking for the best at this price range get this one

It's absolutely fantastic. I do a lot of baking and love the double ovens.I had an older model maytag double oven, but this model is even better.It is a pity the salesmen don't have the knowledge to promote this oven. I had a hard job trying to find out the differences between this model and the cheaper model.The larger oven heats up so quickly it is well worth the extra money and the top oven cooks perfectly.Don't hesitate to buy this. It is well worth the money.

Purchased this range about five years ago when my kitchen was renovated. I looked forward to having two ovens with the large one being a convection. Love the small oven and use it 75% of the time and I love it. Using it for making toast is convenient but it gets so hot and takes a very long time to cool down. The large oven is a disappointment because the convection feature has never worked.Nice having a timer for each oven but they aren't loud enough. I can't hear them in the next room.At first I was impressed with how quickly the burners changed temperature but after a few years they don't respond very fast. The top of the oven is terribly scratched, and I never was successful finding out what pots wouldn't scratch it. I got my first two scratches a month after it was installed using what I thought was a safe pot with smooth bottom. Tried to contact Maytag and could never get anyone to answer the phone. Now it looks terrible. I don't understand because Corning has been making glass baking dishes for years that don't scratch and there are other makes of stove tops that friends have purchased that have held up much better. I would never recommend Maytag even though my dryer is still working after 25 years.

I have been searching for a new range for at least 6 months. My old range was starting to have issues and I really wanted a double oven as I like to bake and loved the idea of using a smaller oven when it is just the two of us. Every store I went to I checked out their ranges and found features I liked and disliked. I had it narrowed down to two different ones and decided to shop local and get this one from a dealer who provides excellent service. I wish I had gone the other way. In my opinion, either this oven was designed by a male or a female who never cooks.I have so many complaints that I don't know where to start. The thing that is the most annoying is how the upper oven cooks. You put a pan of anything in to bake and the back is very done while the front is not. I have tried different pans and items to cook and it always has the same results. I don't want to have to turn the food half way through the cooking process as I lose way too much heat doing that. It doesn't make any difference if I am cooking with one pan or two. It just bakes uneven. I make meringue pies often and the back is a dark brown while the front is barely brown. That is one of the reasons I got rid of my old oven as it was starting to burn things in the back and this one is doing it right off the bat. Another problem with the upper oven is when you open the oven door and pull the rack out, it scrapes on the door. The door placement needs to be 1/2" lower so that it doesn't scratch the door. If you lift the rack up while you pull it out then it clears but you shouldn't have to do that to remove the pans from the oven plus there is hardly room to pull the rack out because the door sits so close. Even the top oven light burned out after a week of using it and I never turn the oven light feature on. This thing just has issues!Now on to the convection lower oven. I make pie shells and put some on both racks. There is no way that they all cook the same. Some are very done while the others are barely done. That is why I wanted to get the convection feature as I really used it with my last oven and this did nothing but disappoint. No way could you put two pans of cookies in there and have them done the same at the same time.Another big annoyance is the timer. When the cooking time is done it gives one beep and that is it. If you are not standing close by, you do not hear it and things get overbaked. It does give another beep a minute later but once again you have to be close by to hear it. I don't even use that feature anymore as I just grab my old kitchen timer that continues to beep until you shut it off.Now up to the cooktop. Someone had complained about the three burners setting and they were correct. It is hard to adjust the heat for the smaller burners as there is only a very small amount that you can turn the burner knob. Also, when the small burner is on, the outside of the outside burner also comes on. The two different melt features is just a waste. Not sure how much people melt things but one burner with that feature would have been plenty.The pros about the range is that it is a very nice looking range but that doesn't even begin to make up for the baking and cooking performance.I had very high hopes for this range and was excited to use it and now I am just upset every time I use it.

We purchased this stove as I thought it was the same Maytag we had originally. Love the double oven as we usually only use the top except for holidays. The best options from the last maytag we had are GONE - NO KEYPAD, you have to hit the + and - buttons to get a temperature, to set the timer -which by the way automatically shuts the oven off when the timer is done - most dishes need more time so you have to turn the oven back on - using the + or - keys - SO FRUSTRATING - also the last maytag had a toasting feature - now I had to buy a toaster which takes up counter space! my fault for not researching throughly but this is the worst oven! Who would build an oven without a keypad????? Lastly this cooktop is awful and does not clean easily like the last one - looks like the same material but clearly it is not. This range is a huge disappointment.

We recently purchased this new double over to match the new stainless steel refrigerator we purchased. We did upgrade to the double oven and very glad we did. We typically use the much smaller top oven (approximately 85% of the time). This preheats much quicker and uses less electricity to cook the majority of items we are cooking. But for the cookies we do use the larger oven to utilize the convection oven to make sure they are cooked just right! So far everything is working great. The 10 year warranty is a nice piece of assurance (even though ranges typically have few issues it's nice to know if there is one it will be covered).

Misleading photos - not good if you have children

The photos show 4 knobs, each with a blue dot on it that looks light a light that goes on when the knob is turned and the cooktop is in use. It is NOT. It is a dummy light. Just a colored dot. Plus the 1 light that does go on when the cooktop is on is tiny (probably less than 1/16" round) and placed within 1/2" below 1 of the knobs. So almost impossible to see even when on. Poor choice for families with kids.

This is one of the best investments I have made. I've seen some negative posts and have not had any issue that has been stated. I would recommend this stove to anyone. you will save more money by using the top oven as it is a smaller area to heat. Easy to use and cooks as good as it looks.

We bought this a month ago and have enjoyed it a lot. The two ovens are wonderful. The top oven is perfect for us for every day and heats up quickly. When we had company I used both ovens and it worked great. The only issue is that the small heating units are both on the back of the cooktop. The one small one in front is with a triple unit and is a little hard to regulate.

Just had my new double-oven delivered about 2 weeks ago. I'm still getting used to the features but mostly an easy process as this replaces a 12 yr. old Gemini.What I love most about this new one:1) Convection cooking.2) larger (triple) size settings for largest top cook-top burner.3) kind of a "retro" look w/ the large metal knobs and stainless steel.The name "Gemini" doesn't even appear on it and the Maytag logo is placed at the bottom.Wonderful stove.

Contacted Maytag and was told by 2 people the only option I have for this model to to click the minute button 210 times. REALLY? my old cheap stove I could set it with 5 pushes of buttons.

We bought this stove because our old stove, which came with the house, was so slow to heat up that everyone complained. There are only two people that live at the house but we have lots of visitor,(family and friend). It is at a lake. This stove came and what a difference. WOW instant heat, when you turn on the burner.

Being able to have everything finish at the same time is great, also having the bottom oven heat faster when its being used alone comes in handy as well. The triple zone burner on top needs more fine control when it comes to setting temperature. the small and medium zones only have 4 or so clicks to set the temp which can be frustrating but you get used to it. The large powerboost burner works just as it says and can bring large pots to a boil in a minamal amount of time.

Double ovens was the main feature I was looking for when I purchased this stove along with Made In America. Love being able to cook two things at once at different temperatures! I have a large skillet I use all the time and the extra large burner is perfect for cooking with it. The power boost burner probably gets the most use having a child who wants fed quickly and by myself heating tea water. Extremely happy with my purchase!

Only had it a month, so its too soon to know how this one will be in the long run. My first Gemini had the control panel go out after 9 years. For the cost, it seems it should last longer. This new one has many more bells and whistles - love the 5th top burner (warmer) and the convection oven. Don't love the racks. A lip at the front edge was removed, making it easy for pans to slide out beyond the rack.
