We have a relatively small space for the fridge in our kitchen, so we were limited in our choices. This Maytag French Door refrigerator fit all of my needs perfectly. Access to the food is easy, with well-designed shelves, drawers, and on-the-door storage. The drawers seem much sturdier than those in pricier competitors. The bottom freezer makes it easy to find what you're looking for. It runs very quietly and looks beautiful. The door alarm is helpful as well, since the grandkids don't always remember to close the doors !

I've had this model about 4 months. I bought it because I have a vintage 1915 bungalow and the kitchen is an open square with very little built ins or counters. I have a son and needed something both big enough to keep 10-14 days worth of food for 2-3 as well as not be massive and overpower my space. This beauty is perfect! Quiet, great crickets keep veggies and fruit which we consume a lot of fresh. What keeps this from being a 5 star rating is minor, but here are my observations: the door tends to be easy to stay open-- a quiet ring alerts you-- but it's a very soft close and can sometimes look like it's closed when it's not. Secondly the door storage is funny-- there are a few shelves that are almost wasted space-- they can hold short runs of hummus or cream cheese or small yoghurts, but I would have preferred a taller space for beverages. It's hard to have more than 2 tall items in the door: milk and juice? What about wine or soft drinks? Finally, the plastic frame at the base that conceals the wheels is a bit flimsy and falls off a lot. The only cheap piece on this though -- everything else seems good Quality. I'm very happy with it overall!!

I bought this fridge in February so I have used it for 5 months now. Very happy with the 3 door design appearance and the bottom freezer. I do not have the ice maker hooked up.The interior design has too much wasted space. The "T" configuration of the door bins and the vegetable bins wastes the space on the legs of the "t". Non adjustable shelves significantly limit usability. The hanging indicator panel limits the top shelf where it is the only option for taller bottles and cartons. The middle shelf is just a shade too short to accommodate standard size jars due to the overhanging lip of the shelf. The filters are pretty expensive. I do not have the icemaker hooked up and the filter is already needing replacing at a cost of about $40 a filter which I find a bit steep. Since I don't buy a refrigerator every day, it may be that all newer models have these consumables which must be replaced every few months, but it is a significant additional cost. I have adjusted to the interior design and otherwise like the fridge very much. It would not do for a large family but would work for 1-2 people, or in a small space.

Bought this around 1 month ago and the left door is squeaking terribly, my friend also has the same product and she has the same problem. Need to call the company for a solution ,she has tried to have her problem solved to no avail.I am also disappointed in the cooling also seems to need to be turned up to keep things cold.Depending on the service i recieve i will decide to recommend or not

I've had this refrigerator a week and I love it so far. Very spacious and quiet. The only problem I've noticed since day one is that the large crisper drawer on the left has a tendency to slide to the right and almost come complete off the tracks. It is difficult to open or close without this problem occurring.

We purchased this to replace a 30 year old refrig. Because of our small condo kitchen, we had limited choices with the French door/bottom freezer style - and this size fit perfectly. The Fold Away Shelf is a nice feature. Control Panel is easy to use. Gave it 4 stars only because it probably wouldn't be big enough for a family - but it provides enough storage for two people.

I spent a great deal of time shopping and researching refrigerators before selecting this unit, and overall, I am very pleased. There are only a couple bothersome issues. There is a lack of space in the fresh section for tall bottles/jars. The unit has a "tilt out" shelf in a door, and I cannot figure out how to tilt it. The manual does not tell you how it works. Also, the ice maker bin is very large and takes up too much space in the freezer. I have substituted a smaller bin from one if my ice chests. Just some items I thought worth mentioning. But I am happy with this purchase, had excellent service from the appliance store, and I trust the Maytag brand.

We bought the refrigerator about 3 months ago. It does not have as much room as we would have liked but we were limited on the space to put it in. We really like the design. It matches very well in our kitchen.More space for taller items would be nice. It is very quiet in its operation. It seems that the tray for the icemaker takes up more space than it needs to. Overall we are happy with the refrigerator although I thought Maytag's were built in the US. When it was delivered I was disappointed to find out that it wasn't. I hope it will last like our previous one.

We have a 31 inch opening for a refrigerator, dictated by a wall and counter top. I wanted a French door refrigerator to fit this space. This fridge looks great and fit our space perfectly. It is not too deep like some of the other narrow French door refrigerators I looked at. It has plenty of interior room in the fridge and the freezer. My only complaint is the lack of room inside the fridge for tall items, and I knew of this when I bought it. We rearranged the shelves in the door to accommodate containers like juice, sauce bottles, etc. We store a gallon of milk and a brita pitcher inside the fridge, but had to slide one of the shelves back to accommodate that. With those items, I can't fit a 6 pack of bottles in unless I turn it on it's side and place it on the top shelf. However, I knew that this refrigerator was smaller than most French doors, so I anticipated some restrictions. We have plenty of room for all of our groceries for a family of 3, it just takes some creativity to make the space work for larger items.

I love my new refrigerator! It looks great and was the perfect size for what I needed. I like the stainless steel look. It's not the smallest refrigerator, but small enough to fit my small kitchen. Still had to take the doors off to get in my condo. I haven't had it long, but everything is working fine.I put the design rating at 4 for three reasons. All reasons were pretty minor. There was a full shelf that could be converted to a half shelf that I removed. It was right in the middle and left on limited space for milk and such. Also with it on there the shelves were too close together. I removed that shelf and it allowed me to line 3 gallons of milk in a row. (See pics) I feel like I have more room.Second, if I want to get something out of the left side produce section for example, I have to open both doors.Third, opening the freezer below opens both drawers and makes noise. It seems like they could be on tracks or something for a smoother opening. Works fine, but maybe a better option.These issues are minor and should not affect your decision to buy.It looks well made, the parts fit well together, the electronic functions are easy to use, the french doors open smoothly. All in all I like it!PS I have not installed to ice maker yet.

After years of left overs that went bad or overbuying something because I couldn't SEE what was in the fridge without crouching down, this new configuration is a very happy change. I open those doors and everything is visible from standing eye-level. I love the easily adjustable middle shelf that has the sort of cut-away option for when I have taller items. The door cubbies are nice and deep and hold a lot of things in organized collections (all the dressings here, all the other condiments there, etc.). Having the freezer in a drawer with split levels is fantastic--again, so much easier to see everything, and therefore not let it go to waste.

We have been remodeling an awesome led condo who would have though a regular refrigerator would not fit in a spot in the kitchen. We ran into that problem. Thank goodness for this Maytag model it is cabinet depth just fits in our tight spot. Had to remove the top shelf so I could put milk etc.in there be we are so please with this appliance. If you have a tight spot and need a nice refrigerator check this one out!

Very Pretty on the outside but the inside design leave a lot to desire. From the moment I bought it I was so disappointed with it I had named it my worst purchase, waste of money bad selection I ever made when it comes to appliances. From the very first week the left door flap stop working and I have to manually operate the flap in order to close the door. The freezer is so small there's no space for containers at all and I have been limited to save everything in ziplock bags to be able to fit them. But the main compartment is the worst of all, there's no way to fit bottles, or gallons of any kind unless you collapse the middle shelf which means you will lose 50% of that shelving space and if you use the door compartments for that purpose the door will get very heavy and you would be left with no space for other condiments like ketchup, mustard, etc that you would normally store in the door compartments and there's absolutely no space to store them in the main compartment as the space in between the shelves is so ridiculously short that I have no other choice but to store everything side ways or laying down. I had tried moving the shelves up and down but there is no other way to make a better use of space in piece of junk. The temperature control is another problem if its too high everything freezes in the main compartment and if you lower it down the vegetables and fruits go bad too soon. I also find it very noisy to be such a modern appliance. Last thing to say I don't know what the person who designed this fridge was thinking and is very obvious they didn't properly test it before putting it in the market. I would never recommend this fridge to anybody, I gave it a one star because I couldn't go any lower.

I looked at a 36" like this and it seemed nice but had to order the 30" because nobody stocks products anymore. After I got this one in my home some things became apparent that I didn't like. First the doors are so small its hard to get things in and out without opening both doors. Second is the shelves , they are all full width and give limited room for storage and the bottom shelf with three one gallon jugs on it and a few other things the shelf bows down and makes the crisper drawer bind up and hard to open. It has less space than the single door refrigerators and the freezer is kind of small for the space but the pull out drawer is nice.

yes it fits but the door closure is not good the fridge must be 5 or 6 inches from the side wall to allow opening which u need IF u wish to open freezer.. It is really just toooooo small I wish I would have ordered the next size-- We really purchased it because of the "cute" sliding shelf which we NEVER open because we need to place items which are tooo tall to sit anywhere else. so after removing 60% of the removeable boxes ---we can actually use the fridge . . .all of our appliances are from Maytag most are great, but not this one pleeeeez give me the bigger fridge or at least contact me before making a an updated model..

This refrigerator IS a dream to own. It is just the right size for the two of us, but can easily accommodate all the extras required w/preparation for holiday meals and parties. Shelves easily move to where you need them - both within the refrigerator AND on the doors! And, no more climbing into the fridge to find things or to clean; you can see it all, and EASILY clean it all. I just love it. The freezer space is more than adequate and far better designed than ALL the competitors. I know. I check them all. The ice drawer FULLY opens - others do not. Plus, there is accessible space beside it. This drawer easily slides back to reveal plenty of freeze space in the divide area below. Further, the freezer drawer as a whole is far more sturdy than ANY of the competitors. I know. I compared them all.I am not a Maytag plant here. My review is sincere and honest. I love this refrigerator. No longer having to stoop over, reach far in, rearrange to search is a big deal to me. It is difficult for me to do these things. This really is my Dream Machine!

This unit has a good look but interior is so far a disappointment. We've had the unit for 6 weeks and are still adjusting to French Door design and the limited interior space but we like the bottom freezor. We purchased this smaller model to fit limited space. Our dealer repaired the left door which didn't close properly because it was too low. The biggest question now is why do the humidity-controlled drawers not close tightly? It would seem the drawer needs some type of seal across the top edge in order to be temperature controlled as advertised. How can the drawer be moisture-sealed when there is a gap at the top of the drawer? There is also a lot of wiggle to the drawers when opening and closing. Also, our drawers do not resemble the drawer that is pictured on this website.

I have a small kitchen and a narrow, difficult to navigate entrance to my apartment. This fridge offers Maytag Quality along with all the sleekness and convenience of larger French door fridges, but in a compact size that suits my needs. It is solidly made, runs quietly, and is great at keeping food fresh. The moisture control button is highly effective at eliminating dampness. The stainless is easily wiped clean of fingerprints using mild soap and water as the instructions recommend. I don't have the ice maker hooked up so can't comment on its performance. If you're someone who keeps lots of large beverage containers you might find yourself challenged for space, but otherwise, I'd recommend this fridge for anyone with space limitations.

I've had this in use for 3 weeks.The bad:1. The bottom left crisper drawer frequently falls off the rails2. The top door shelves share space with the console in the center of the refrigerator, you have to put short objects there otherwise the door won't close.3. If the right door is closed, the left door will not close under its own weight.4. Limited options for horizontal shelf spacing.The good:1. If the door is left ajar it will play a sound to remind you.2. Center shelf folds in or out depending on need.

I love this refrigerator! It is much roomier than you would think. The LED lights at the top make it so easy to see everything. No bending and stooping to see what is on the bottom shelves because they are all up top! The bottom freezer is the best! It, too, is quite large.
