I'm not really that taken with the Aqualift technology. I have had self cleaning ovens before and I do know the bottom of the oven tends to not look so good after time because of the high heats, but buying this oven means you are going to be cleaning it up if you don't want it to be a mess after every use. I find the Aqualift does not work well on grease spattering (ex-I cook my bacon in the oven). It's ok with spills, however that's not something that happens to me that often. I'm in this oven every time I use it cleaning it up so it will look ok when we sell our home.The stove part of the oven is fine. Very happy with the heat output and being able to clean the stove. The oven just needs to be self cleaning. I'd look for something else.

Oven would not work right after installation because of bad control board. Took service department 2 weeks to diagnose, order part and fix! Not a good way to start off with a brand new appliance! A real pain to level range when installed since delivery people didn't do it, had to do myself! Also don't like the heavy iron full width cooking grate on stove top. Would have much preferred the individual burner grates for easier stove top cleaning.

I have truly enjoyed cooking and baking with my new oven. Looks good and works great. I love the ease of cleaning and not having to heat the oven like so many others do. Only issue I have is the knows have discolored spots on them and I keep a clean stove and I've only have it 15 months.

I've had my stove for almost two months. I love it. It boils water quickly, cooks my food evenly, love that the oven window is so clear you can watch whatever you have in there. I would definitely recommend this.

I purchased my range on July 5 2016 and the paint on the control knobs which indicates the burner strength is quickly disappearing. I spoke to someone in customer service and was told it was a cosmetic issue and I would not be helped. The paint coming off in a month is a manufacturing issue, obviously the paint is inferior or it was applied wrong.

We own a gas range model MGR8600dso that was installed in a house less then a year ago. We have encountered serious problems that Maytag should be aware of. Two days ago i went your website to read reviews and much to my shock i found a review that almost exactly mimics the issues we have encountered ,that was sent to you by a person named JJ from Michigan. First of all the knobs get so hot that you can't touch them while cooking. Secondly we turned on one of the burners and a massive flame shout out singeing my arm and hair.The burst of flame also blacken the microwave above. Thirdly we found a small silver threaded (lack of a better word) bolt with a even smaller green threaded bolt stuck between the door and the bottom of the oven. And last of all the grills are heavy and because they are intertwined we go to pick them up to clean, we scratched the face of the brand new stove . terrible design

When I purchased this stove I assumed it would come with a broiler pan which is part of the stove. It does not. Not happy about having to purchase a new broiler pan separate. And you should be able to shut off oven light to leave oven door open to cool down after baking in it this one you can not shut oven light off. Other than that works good.

I bought this Maytag range 2 weeks ago to replace an old and not working to well range and already have got a lot of use out of it. The big oven space is great for cooking several things at once. The stove with the fast burners heat food up pretty quick. The temp controls for oven keep things at perfect temp all the time. I'm very satisfied with this range

For the amount of cooking I do it is a great stove. The one thing I do not like is the knobs being in the front of the stove. I have unintentionally turned the burners on when I reach up to open the microwave.

I really like my new stove. I don't like to cook, so this is not an appliance that thrills me. It looks great. I wasn't sure I could get used to the grates over the entire stove top, but after a day or two it seemed natural.However, I do have a few recommendations. I would like a silicone strip the length of the oven handle, so a towel doesn't slide off. Also, I'm in my 60's, and I think the oven is too low. For a family that cooks large amounts, I'm sure it's fine. And finally, I noticed the burner knobs get warm when the oven is on. Maybe a silicone strip on them, too? Overall, I'm glad I picked a Maytag. This is my first Maytag appliance.

I am happy with my range for several reasons. I love the surface, so easy to clean. I love the big window opening. I love the small burner and also the large burger. I love the grate. I love the clean design of the controls. As you can tell, I am so happy with my purchase. I have not used the self-cleaning oven, but love the environmental design.

This is a great looking stove and it works exceptional well. The one flaw in the design is the black top surrounding the burners. It is impossible to keep clean, much like a gloss black car. I would have thought a stainless steel top, to match the front, would be much more effective.

Disappointed!! The wrought iron top is very difficult to clean. Everything I use leaves lint behind and looks horrible. I have searched for a specific cleaner to resolve this issue, however, I have not found one. If someone could provide me with a solution I would be much happier with my purchase. Or are they defective?

This oven does a beautiful job baking meals for our large family. You need to know that the aqualift only cleans the bottom of the oven. Not the sides or top. Please be careful with what you use to clean those or you will void the warrenty. Do not buy the white model. The top vent actually burns the control panel! I have begged Maytag to help with this issue and they refuse. This is a functional flaw. I've been told it's cosmetic. So I have a beautiful white and Brown oven. So disappointed that they have no solution for an appliance that burns itself. I can not in good faith recommend this product to anyone.

Love this unit BUT... 3 stars to design flaw. Unit has black plastic front. burner grates are rough cast iron. 1st day, lifted grate to clean and the grate interferes with the plastic front and left big ugly gouge on new stove! What a dumb design! We are so sad, first new stove ever bought. :(
