I bought this product from Leons when we moved into our new home in 2015. We got the entire line from Maytag and it looked amazing.
As soon as we began using it for the first time the covers for some of the burners started to chip away. Since they don't come in direct contact with food and because it would have been a nightmare to go through warranty and all that back and forth via mail I decided to just ignore the eye sore and continue using it.
This week I look at my griddle and its peeling BADLY. So bad I now can no longer use it.
I LOVE that thing...its honestly one of the very best features of this gas range.
It breaks my heart that I cannot find where to replace it cause I totally would.
In retrospect for what we paid for these products I shouldn't have purchased them...sometimes expensive is only expensive for show...not for quality. =(
Remember when our grandparents used to buy appliances and they would last years and years and years... what happened to that?

Poorly designed low quality parts hard to clean

I've had this stove for a year and I would not recommend it to anyone. Functionality wise it does well for cooking and baking and the convection is great. BUT it's so hard to clean and doesn't hold up to normal wear and tear. First, the coating on the burner knobs started wearing off after only 3 months and now looks pitted and the plastic underpart is showing. The stove top racks are heavy and if you just so happen to place them wrong you can scratch up the stainless steel on the back (which I have done on more than one occasion). The stove top itself once racks are removed gets stained easily so no matter what kind of cleaner I use it never looks clean, especially around the burners. The aqualift self clean doesn't work practically at all. I'll have this unit for the next 10 years but would advise others to purchase something else.

Oven is heavy. And the grates are fantastic. Has the griddle which is very handy. The burners are very precision.The oven I haven't used as of yet, this the 4 stars. However if it performs as well as the burners then it's a 5 star range.

I've had this unit for about a month now and it works wonderfully. It boils water so fast and the oven is quiet. It can take a few minutes to preheat but it stays at temperature well. The oven vents heavy on the right side so I needed to rearrange a little so that things didn't get too hot while baking. Overall I'm very pleased with this oven.

I purchased this range about 1 month ago. The griddle is perfect size to make a quick meal for 2 people.The back eyes are perfect for simmering. Left rice on for about 1 hour and it did not burn.

We bought this oven a couple months ago. Good size and look. The large oven window is great for monitoring our meals. The additional 5th burner is very helpful as well. It is a great oven.

I had to buy a new oven due to my old one dying. I just love this oven. My food cooks evenly and I can actually cook 3 different things at one time. I just made chex mix and I usually made 1 pan at a time and last night I was able to bake 3 pans at once and they all turned out perfect! I am trying to get used to the gas burners but I haven't burned anything yet. LOVE this new oven.

My kitchen layout did not permit my to buy a 48 or 60 inch double oven but the 3rd oven rack and expanded capacity of this Maytag negated the need for a double oven. This Thanksgiving I had the turkey on the bottom expanded rack, two casseroles on the middle rack and pies on the top rack. The fifth burner on the cooktop also comes in handy when I need it.

This range was delivered two days ago and installed. It is wonderful and cooking our Thanksgiving dinner as I write. I am impressed with ALL I have seen to date, except for one small complaint. The racks should be stronger, more rigid! sags badly with a 30 pound turkey on it!

When we bought our house two years ago it came with an electric glass top stove. I hated it but I didn't want to replace it just because it wasn't gas. Nothing in the oven cooked even and the top of the stove stayed hot for a long time after turning off the burners. Finally, after burning four batches of cookies, I had had enough. My husband, being the wonderful and thoughtful man that he is, bought me new kitchen appliances and I have to say, the stove has been a god-send. Nothing burns or cooks unevenly. When I turn off the heat, it cools down quickly. It's super easy to clean. The buttons (controls) are intuitive and work as expected. Super deluxe oven with adjustable shelves which are super important especially with the holidays just around the corner.

Really do like it. It is a great looking range also. Only drawback is the knobs are very easy to turn on if you reach for anything at the back. Have turned mine on numerous times and either it lights or I smell gas to let me know. That is my only drawback But all in all am well pleased.

Huge oven, have not used the convection feature or the cleaning yet. I have my doubts about the steam clean but will give it a try. Love the burners, but the grates are heavy and hard to move and clean.

I bought this stove about two months ago. I am very dissatisfied with the fact that when the oven is on, the stove nobs must be adjusted using a potholder because the oven makes them too hot to touch otherwise. I have never owned a stove or oven that has ever produced this type of danger for accidental burning or a child walking by and touching the nobs. Very poor design and I do not recommend anyone purchase this stove.

It was my husband's idea: he has wanted a gas stove for years. So when the oven element on our electric stove burned out, he saw his chance! I wasn't so sure, but am now completely convinced. I love the fact that it has five burners and that when they are on, they're on and when you turn them off, the heat is immediately gone from beneath the pan. I also like the option of cooking with convection heat. I wasn't ready for not having a solid cook-top, but have gotten used to the open grate and I like that it's so easy to clean. Only two drawbacks: the drawer beneath the oven is smaller than what we had before and doesn't provide as much storage. And it's deeper and the control knobs are on the front, so it sticks out about 4 inches further into the kitchen making it hard for me to reach items in the cabinet above the stove. No worries. I just need to grab a stool!

Began using about a month ago. So far I'm very happy with the cooking and baking I've done. I haven't had opportunity to use the convection oven yet but am anxious to learn. Probably the one thing I'm concerned about is the weight of the grates for the range. I fear that the heaviness may cause me to knick the black coating on the cooktop. Just need to be super careful.

The oven steam clean is awesome! The only thing I would change is making the top grates smooth so when wiping off fuzz doesn't stick to them. But I'm sure with use that will happen soon enough!

This is a really great range. So much better than my electric one I had. Hated electric.Range cooks very well and the convection oven is great. I also have a Maytag refrigerator and a Maytag dishwasher. A grill came with it wish a Wok Bowl did. But I ordered one.

Do not buy this stove unless you want to wear an oven mit to operate the knobs and open the oven when in use. The knobs get very hot as well as the front of the stove. I had the oven on for 1 hour last night at 425 degF and measured temperatures as high as 208 degF on the front of the stove behind the handle to open the oven. I contacted Maytag's support line and they told me that it is normal for the knobs to get hot but I am sorry I do not think that this is very normal. Very disappointed in my purchase and regret buying it. Wish I would have read the reviews before my purchase.

Bought this stove about 2 months ago and I am completely satisfied with it. The design of the gas cooktop allows food to cooked quickly and the oven is very efficient. Cooktop cleans up easily. Previously we had a gas cooktop that was not well designed and it took too long to cook anything, so this one is much appreciated.The only little thing is that it does not have a warming drawer that I would have liked.

Only had this range a week or so but it works great and looks great! Very nice upgrade. Love the handle on the bottom storage drawer also. Most ranges don't have this feature.

We like most everything about the new range, especially the convection oven optionIf we were to purchase another in the future, I would like to see larger option buttons on the control panel. The panel is very large and the option buttons are very small The control panel is so large with a lot of unused space. In addition, the stainless steel rim around the control panel is so thin that it scratches and dents very easily. We had to buy a new piece after one of the contractors dented and scratched it.

I like the stove except for the extreme heat radiating through the gas knobs when using the oven. Knobs get extremely hot to the touch when using the oven.
