I bought this online without seeing it and I have learn my lesson. This is a great fridge for a single person or couple who don't need loads of space. It is a good looking fridge but it is lacking on the inside. When we got it they forgot to put the bolt in the freezer part for the door so it is super flimsy and havent been able contact them about it. There is literally no room int the door for a 4 L jug of milk which is super disappointing. You have to put it on the bottom but I also have no room because the produce drawers are so small you ca fit much in them and i have to put it on my bottom shelf. I had company for a week when I first bought this fridge and it was packed and all the things in the back froze... not cool. Also the door storge doesnt have room for every many tall bottles so you are left to put them in the bottom self with everything else that doesn't fit nicely. If you have a bad back don't buy this fridge because it is quite the plunge to get stuff. I usually put my groceries in while sitting on the floor. The freezer is small so i have put some bins to be able to organize things. Good thing its winter and -28 out I just put the over flow on my deck. I am glad this isn't my forever fridge we are moving out of this house and making it a rental so we bought it more for durability which maytag is good for. Next fridge I buy will most definitely be a french door. Also, Maytag I would like my bolt!! I feel like the Quality control was lacking here!

We appreciate the quiet operation, good interior lighting and smoothly operating drawers. Converting to left-had hinge was tedious but doable. ... the biggest nuisance being the stuck-on Maytag nameplate over an essential screw hole for the door handle. We built a 3-inch-high pedestal to reduce bending required to reach into fruit and vegetable drawers.

Our cheap basement unit was tired. Bought this one to replace it. Spacious and well designed. Both keep temperatures stable. Love the light in freezer. We mainly keep sale frozen products in freezer and drinks in fridge

Nice glass shelves. The deli drawer is a bit tough to open. some of the plastic shelves feel flimsy. Works fine. Hope it works well for long.

*I love the larger meat drawer that extends the entire width of the refrigerator.*I like the size and lighting in the freezer section.*I like the finish - finger prints are manageable.*Not happy with the door shelving.Disappointed that no gallon jugs can fit in the door. They take up a lot of space on the BOTTOM of the refrigerator (since the shelves can't be adjusted enough to put them anywhere else). But it's deeper so I can put one in front of another. The salesman told me the door space would fit a gallon jug. I doubted that and I was right. He just wanted to make a sale.Other shelves limit the use of medium (not to mention taller) sized bottles (in terms of height).

It's a great appliance. I absolutely love the full length drawer along the shelf. I also enjoy the fact that the shelves on the door are not made with plastic which makes then much sturdier.

I've had my new refrigerator for 3 weeks. The features are just fine. And when it's not running it's great. But when it kicks on and the condenser is running, it is so loud I can't stand it. Called Maytag and they were zero help. Said I could have an appliance tech come out and check it, but most likely I'd be paying for the service call if it was cooling properly because there most likely was nothing wrong. Thanks Maytag. I just don't know how most of the reviewers could say how quiet it is if their's sounded like this.

This frig has only three temperature settings (plus a super cold setting if you open the door a lot). At the mid, recommended setting, food goes bad, especially milk. At the top setting, veggies freeze. The metal rail on the top shelf keeps falling off when we shut the door. We've had to tape it in place with electrical tape. There could be more choices for adjusting the shelves.The light in the freezer is nice and the little wheels on the vegetable bins also are a good touch. But we'd give this up just to have this frig keep food at the proper temperature.

Frig fits in designated space, keeps food at proper temps using thermometer,is quiet, and makes sufficient ice. Door shelving design is impractical; will not house gallon jug of milk. overcame design flaw by lowering deli shelve so larger items could fit on top shelve. Almost bought competitors refrig because of this but Whilpool name saved the purchase.

Love the look of my refrigerator! It's a little bit on the noisy side when running. The ice maker is a bit hard to get into and must be kept in the absolute correct position or ice falls down behind it.

I love my new Maytag refrigerator! It's energy efficient and the interior is wonderful! It's a bit smaller than the refrigerator it replaced, but my daughter and I haven't noticed the difference. There is ample space for all our groceries, and they are easily accessible. The clear shelves and drawers make it easy to see what is available when I'm cooking. My Maytag runs quietly, which is another feature I really appreciate. We've decided that Maytag is the only choice when buying any appliance.
