Bought this about six months ago and have not been very happy with it at all. I don't know why you don't make a refrigerator this size with the French doors. Things are always falling out of my freezer. In fact it was delivered with one of the shelves in the freezer missing and it still hasn't been replaced. Water spills when I try to fill a glass because the area isn't big enough. I'm really very unhappy with this refrigerator.

I bought this refrigerator 1 month ago. I used stainless steel cleaner as recommended by manufacturer and apparently got some cleaner on the plastic control panel and it removed the lettering for the controls.The water temperature is set at 50 degrees at the factory and is not cold enough unless you run about 8 to 10 ounces before drinking, not very practical...it should be set at about 45 degrees. The wire shelves in the freezer are too far apart, items such as a package of sausage patties, about 1 inch thick falls through the wire so everything must lay flat on the shelf.Other than that, it looks good, works well and I am happy with my purchase

This is my first side by side and I am a little disappointed in the freezer size. I truly wish it had more room but that is the only thing that didn't compare to what I thought I was getting. Love the water & ice in the door, keeps kids out of the freezer. The refrigerator side is awesome with the adjustable shelves.

Love the looks of this refrigerator but the 2 large drawers in the refrigerator side are very hard to close. Because of this my 2 young boys do not shut the drawers all the way and when they close the doors it cracks the drawers and causes the handles to pop off.

I had to do a lot of research to find a refrigerator that would fit a very tight space in my home. This Maytag refrigerator fits perfectly, and the stainless steel exterior looks beautiful. In addition, the interior is actually more roomy than my old refrigerator. The adjustable controls keep everything perfectly chilled, and the built in ice-maker/water dispenser is a real bonus. All this, and Maytag Quality, too! What a deal!

Was disappointed in the Quality of the drawers and how they get hung up when sliding back and forth. Also, the design of the ice/water dispenser is not user friendly. The water tube is positioned farther infront of the ice dispenser shaft and everytime we dispense water and push on the control it runs down the glass and the outside of the refrigerator door. Must use fingers to hold the control down so glass is far enough forward so not to make a water mess. Ice maker does not make ice in a timely manner.

I bought the 22 cu ft model on August 10, 2014, eleven months later rust started coming out of the front door near the handle. I called customer service, their answer is that the warranty does not cover rust issues, it is considered a cosmetic issue.

We've had this refrigerator for about a month now and so far have no complaints. We bought this specific model to replace a traditional top freezer refrigerator in that had a dedicated space in our kitchen that was very small. This unit has much more storage and organization options than the outdated model it replaced and gave us several additional features that we like.The ice maker/water dispenser works well and is convenient. Seems like there is even cooling throughout the unit and plenty of adjustability of shelves. We had to adjust our freezer setting from factory as it wasn't quite cold enough, but since then, no issues.A few small and mostly cosmetic improvements I would recommend to Maytag:1) Backlight the keys on the ice maker. I know this seems silly, but I don't want to turn on the kitchen light in the middle of the night to see the button to toggle between ice and water2) The handles look nice, but the overall feel of them seems a bit cheap.3) The ice maker doesn't work with the refrigerator door open. There's probably a reason for this and most won't have an issue with it, but I like to multitask (aka snacking while getting a drink in the middle of the night)

I bought this almost a month ago and am very happy with this May Tag refrigerator. It looks great inside and out. It's so quiet and keeps everything cold and crisp. I'm impressed with how much refrigerator have come. It replaces a previous May Tag refrigerator that was our family work horse for 30 years. It still was working but wife wanted a newer one.

We bought this great refrigerator a few months ago and really like it for it's size and style. Only one issue is the ice maker spout dispenses a bit more ice even after you release the button. Just have to be a bit more patient before you walk a way with your cup of ice.

This refrigerator has a hard time maintaining a constant cold temperature. Also, the freezer is small and the door only opens so far. I have banged my face on the ice maker several times trying to reach in the freezer. The ice maker makes a loud banging noise. I would return this in a minute if I could. I do not recommend this refrigerator

Much research went in to my decision making and overall I'm happy with my purchase. Size was the most important since it was being retro fitted into a small space, followed by price, and movable interior shelving. I got what I asked for on those counts. The fridge portion is okay though I would have preferred less drawer space (height) and opted for more/taller space between the shelves. As for the freezer, I'm disappointed; first because of the seeming lack of storage space and then because of the lack of accessibility. With the doors opening less than 90* and because of the ice maker in the door (which I would have preferred NOT to have) the door itself (not including handles) is 9-10" thick/deep leaving only 8" of angled width/space for you to reach into the freezer and access the shelves. That's a tight fit for anyone but a child and so I actually have to turn sideways to reach in (and I'm not a large person) which then results in a huge cold shelf in my face.I've only had the fridge about a month and I'm sure I'll get used to the freezer but I preferred my old side-by-side which was smaller in cubit feet but seemed much roomier inside and definitely had much better access.I've rated the fridge 3 stars/average in comparison to my old one with much better access and roomier shelving. If I rated it against others I saw online to purchase (but then didn't choose) I'd rate it 4 stars/good.

We purchased the fridge around 1 month ago when we moved into our new home. The existing fridge was out of date and we would often have a difficult time finding food in it because the shelves were so large/wide. This fridge is perfect, appropriately spaced shelves, easy visibility of all products, and easy to clean. The water/ice feature is elegant and the stainless steal does not pick up prints and cleans readily.

We were looking to replace the curent brand refrigerator we had and could not find what we wanted on display at the two stores we shopped for appliances. The salesman was able to find a picture and details on internet and ordered it for us. We had a specific measurement to work with and most models were too wide. This one is perfect for us and still kept the water/ice dispenser outside of door and stilll have the french door. My favorite feature for this purchase is having more shelf space since milk and large drink containers fit in the door leaving more room for food storage.First time Maytag appliance purchase and could not be more pleased.

Ice cube dispenser only crushed ice. Filter door at bottom would not close all the way. Repair man came and he couldn't close it. Then 3 weeks later it pop opened all the way. Repair man came and now a whole new bottom area where filter is will come. I did not have to pay as store gave me an insurance. I wouldn't buy another Maytag ever.

Ordered this refrigerator through a local dealer and it was delivered about 3 weeks ago. Have been well pleased with the operation of the refrigerator so far. We selected this model based on the information on the Maytag website. When received we found that it was not as specified on the the website. The specifications listed glass shelves in the freezer section. When received it had wire racks, not glass shelves. Also the Quality of the exterior was not what I have come to expect from Maytag procucts. The refrigerator door did not line up with the freezer door. At the top front, the refrigerator door stuck out about 3/8" more than the freezer door and both doors had rough finish work on top.

I needed a certain size for my kitchen and this was the best of my choices, it is a very sleek and clean lined refrigerator, my only complaint is the water dispenser, the water is not cold enough, and the freezer hold a little less than my other side by side. Other wise very good so far, its a lot quieter than my older fridge.

This is almost perfect; however is has some downsides. I have to turn off the ice maker manually because it overflows before it turns itself off. Also, the shelving isn't the best in freezer. There should be a better way to organize things than simply pile things up dig down - if I wanted that, I would have purchased a chest freezer.
