DO NOT purchase this product! This dryer needed a repair a month after it was installed. I've had it just over a year and it is out of warranty and it is broken AGAIN. I called Whirlpool and they can't help me because I didn't "Purchase" an extended warranty. I was hoping to get 5 years out if this dryer...at least! I will NOT PURCHASE ANOTHER WHIRLPOOL PRODUCT...EVER

we had a whirlpool dryer before we had the duet set and it looks like the washer outlasted the dryer so we bought the duet dryer to match the set. this one is not as fancy with all the bells and whistle the old one had but it does an excellent job. at quite a bit less cost

I have been using this dryer for a couple of months. We have the stacking unit, which makes it easy to use. Quiet and clothes dry quickly. I use the delicate cycle most of the time to keep our clothes from shrinking.

It's a great dryer, but in a small laundry room I find just the slightest brush against the dryer, causes changes in settings. For that reason, I give it only 4 stars.

I've had this dryer in my vacation home which is occupied year-round by a grandchild and her children for a year now and it's going strong. It's quiet and does an excellent job of uniformly drying my clothing and bedding. It took a little time to adjust to the relocation of the grip for opening the door, but that's a negligible difference from my other Whirlpool in my own home. I've been very happy with all my Whirlpool products and heartily recommend them.

I bought this dryer about 4 months ago. It is functioning mostly very well. One thing that I find annoying/disappointing is that the only way to auto-dry clothes on "low" heat is to use the "sensitive" setting. This setting doesn't dry clothes properly even on 'more dry' and when I've also adjusted the underlying settings to 'much drier clothes' (F3).I contacted the manufacturer who told me that of course they don't dry them thoroughly; that sensitive is only intended for blouses/underwear etc that need super sensitive drying and you hang them to finish the dry. Unfortunately a lot of normal (eg cotton t-shirt style) clothes shrink when on medium/normal heat, so I want to dry most of my clothes on low heat. I can make them dry when I use timed dry, but I do prefer to use auto when possible so it's just a bit annoying.

Bought the dryer about a month ago, and it's been fantastic. Love that it's energy star rated. Clothes dry pretty quickly, and having the different settings for types of laundry is great. My only peeve is the location of the power button. We didn't stack the dryer, so the power button is at waist height. We have a shelf over the washer and dryer that we keep detergent and fabric softener on. When we first got the dryer, we kept accidentally pressing the dryer power button while reaching up to get detergent. We've since moved those items, so it's no longer a problem.It's a good looking machine. I would love to have the matching washer, but that will have to wait until our current washer bites the dust.

I have been using this dryer for 4 months. Love it! My clothes dry quickly and with less wrinkles. I like the temperature selections. When you want to dry at a cool, warm, hot or any where in between that is the temperature it will be! No more burned clothes!

The previous one is still going strong at my grandchildren's house.There is one thing that is an issue with this dryer. I have put it in a stacked configuration and doing so has made it difficult to read the settings because the dial is in the way. One suggestion would be to put all of the settings on one side or the other.

Not exactly sure why we waited so long to get a new Whirlpool washer and dryer but we are extremely glad we finally did. What was taking hours to dry before is done in a few minutes and the washer really cleans our clothes. Well worth the price as a matter of fact it was less expensive than most of the completion and i can not see them working this well.

Sometimes, the simplest features are the best. I love the fact that this dryer signals when the clothes are dry. My last dryer did not have that feature. If I didn't hear the dryer go off, sometimes I left dry clothes to wrinkle. That does not happen now. My only concern is, on occasion, it is difficult start and takes 2 or 3 tries.

I bought this Dryer a month ago as a set stacked with the matching washer. I got them for my new house. I like it a lot. It is efficient and dries the laundry all the way. Unlike other brands that the sensor settings cause the clothes to still be damp when done.
