I got this about three weeks ago. Had a little issue with it freezing some things in the fridge so we're still trying to figure it out. We can't figure out how to cut off the ice maker when we go in vacation. We welcome any help with that!

Bought a month ago and very unhappy. After two weeks it quit working. Finally got repareman who got it cooling but ice maker still doesn't make ice. Alabama power says they have ordered parts but this is a brand new refrigerator. How long do you think I should have to wait for what I thought would be a good unit?Still waiting!!!!

Purchased on 1 July to replace a GE side by side that had an ice maker problem. Chose the Whirlpool since its exterior dimensions matched the area. We did have to remove the front door to get the unit in the house. Quite running and had ice the next morning. Checked the temperature from the factory and found 37F in the food area and -5F in the freezer. Decided the ice cream was too hard and raised the freezer to -3F. Easy and quick to do. Especially like the interior lighting. Also, immediately ordered two more shelves for the freezer unit. This one has plenty of room.

For the price point I like this frig. Sometimes a little noisy when making ice but not bad. I purchased 2 extra freezer shelves. That was a plus! Very roomy. Pretty good layout.

Although we had to wait, almost 2 months for the delivery of this Product (due to being White and Back Ordered), we are now very happy that we have it. Initially, we had a concern that, perhaps, the Refrigerator Side was not maintaining the proper temperature. It took over 30 hours to reach the prescribed value. But, subsequently, the Product has performed fine. The Ice Maker in the Freezer Door is a very nice feature. And, we like the excellent lighting on both sides. I / we would note that the Compressor Noise Level is quite noticeable, compared to the prior Whirlpool Product (20 Years Old) that it replaced. But, the noise level is NOT so loud as to be objectionable. Overall, we are very pleased with this Product.

I love the lighting in this refrigerator/freezer. The ice maker on the door is great too. It frees up way more space than you lose in the one or two door shelves. The ice maker and water dispenser are really loud and the buttons are awkward and are hard to operate with just your glass. You pretty much have to put your glass on the shelf and push the button.

We like the refrigerator a lot, but we have a noisy "damper door" contained within the upper left part of the fresh food side marked "Fresh Flow." We are trying to get this fixed. We also have an squeak when we open the fresh food door. Other than those small problems, we like the appliance.

We have had this new side-by-side refrigerator for ten days now, and we are still marveling at its beauty and features. Never had a side-by-side before, but the roominess in both areas is amazing - you can see everything you have, at a glance! Shelves and drawers are top notch, and the water dispenser/ice maker on the front of the unit is fantastic - the filters produce really great tasting water, icy cold. Nothing gets freezer burn in the freezer side, everything is being stored beautifully. We love this unit, so so happy we chose this one!

Awesome refrigerator, Super quiet, Great size, Luv the water and ice dispenser in the door, does not take any room away from freezer. Keeps everything cold, Freezer stays at or below zero with the setting above factory default setting, same for the fridge. You could spend more but you won't get a better fridge.

Refrigerator is very nice with good lighting.The problem is the water filter. It won't stay in place. Pops out all the time leaving water on the top self. Had it fixed Friday and now on Monday the filter has popped out again. Very frustrating.

I bought this refrigerator after reviewing several brands online. Being an emergency purchase over the Christmas holiday, I was happy to find just what I wanted on the same day my old fridge died. I like the clean styling, the electronic door display, ice maker and cold water. Interior lighting is excellent, deep shelves hold plenty of items and the door storage is very good. This model is, however, a bit more noisy with the ice maker and louder motor.

Good fridge. I like almost everything. Except the door stop. The door opens too wide and bangs against the wall. Very annoying. I had to fix it by drilling a screw into the top of the door hinge.

I purchased this refrigerator about 3 months ago. I had hoped that this refrigerator would be as good as my GE Profile fridge of 22 years. I am a bit disapponted in the design of the fridge part of it as the light on the top shelf blocks my ability to store tall items on it. Additionally the shelves are NOT adjustable so if you have a large turkey to defrost, forget it! It isn't going to happen. What a shame! How difficult would it have been to put in adjustable shelving. Also the bottom drawer sticks terribly, the freezer door squeaks something fierce and the fridge door shelves are not deep and do not hold much. Overall, I am not happy with my purchase and wish I had held out for a larger, more reliable unit.

I am overall satisfied with my purchase. But there are a few things I'm not thrilled about. It is loud when in it's cooling phase- I have a loft bedroom and it is loud enough to wake me up. And the light is placed in a very awkward place. The LED lights are nice and bright but it is located on the front part of the "ceiling" and blocks the top shelf. You have to tilt items under it so they fit in. But pretty happy with it.

Overall a good fridge and freezer. It looks really nice and is has a lot of room. But there are a few problems. I do not like how the water is configured. When you get water from the fridge door, it is warm. It takes a cup or two before the water is slightly chilled. My old Whirlpool side by side had the water in coils inside the fridge so the water that was dispensed was always cold. So I am not happy with this. Next, there were too few shelves in the freezer section. It is seriously a joke how few shelves are in there. Definitely not happy with that. For these 2 reasons, I don't know if I'd recommend this to a friend. This was not a cheap fridge and there should be 2 more shelves in the freezer and colder water.

Refrigerator controls are easy to use, large icons on the screen temperature is accurate for both the fridge and freezer. Great in the door ice maker that adds more shelf space and makes a ton of ice cubes. Wide shelves in the fridge door. Bright LED lighting, water filter inside fridge. Easy to reach and change water filters. Super quiet operation and energy efficient.

The side by side features are excellent as they were on my last Whirlpool refrigerator. I dislike the fixed shelving on the interior. The height of the shelves does not allow anything tall to be placed on one. All tall items must be place in the door where it is not as cold as the interior. You can place a gallon milk carton but not anything taller. I really dislike the fixed shelves. I would not have purchased it if I had realized its inconvenience. Like the new exterior panel for ice, water, light(led), and temperature control for freezer & frig. Good change. Recommend to friend aifter showing problem.
